On Yahoo Answers, someone posed the question

Can anyone tell me what kind of database does lenders use for cash advance/payday loans?

That’s a pretty good question to which I have no answer but I don’t think they have anything as formal and organizes as say the credit bureaus. The fact is that payday loan and cash advance companies usually have you by the balls anyway because they have your employer and payroll information. So, they really don’t need any fancy database to find out whether or not you would be a good lending risk. If push comes to shove, they can just garnishee your wages.
